32nd Day got it's start in Crystal Minnesota when bass player, Derek Gaulkee and guitarist Joe Haselman began sending unfinished tracks to each other at the first of each month. One month Haselman was late and sheepishly wrote September 32nd (32nd Day) on the Cd when he delivered it to Gaulkee. Shortly after, a long time friend and accomplished musician, Paul Kerns saw the CD and asked who 32nd Day was. He listened to a couple of songs and was in. Months later the threesome played at a house party that Ben Hoeft (former member of Honey Trough)attended. The threesome asked Ben to come over and jam, which he did for several months. Since then, 32nd Day has been crafting their own blend of sounds, aiming for a disc that one can listen to all the way through. Each member has written at least 2 songs on the debut album, Pivot.
Now in the studio Recording their second CD, they are promising that this will be better than the First, and always sure to Rock your Face Off!
If your in the Twin Cities you can buy "Pivot" at most local record stores including all Cheapo Record Stores, The Electric Fetus, Down in the Valley, or you can download it from i-tunes.
